How long do our perfumes last?
With a concentration of 20 to 25% , our perfumes generally offer a lasting power of 6 to 8 hours .
Longevity can vary depending on the season, humidity level, skin type, or the surface being sprayed.
How can we optimize the longevity of our perfumes?
Spray the perfume on pulse points — wrists, nape of the neck, behind the ears — where the skin is slightly warmer, allowing for a gentler and more even diffusion.
To prolong the wear :
- avoid rubbing your wrists after spraying;
- lightly moisturize the skin beforehand with a fragrance-free lotion;
- Avoid layering other strong scents to preserve the purity of the composition.
We also offer a 10ml size, ideal for touch-ups during the day.
How can we best appreciate the evolution of the grades?
In Petto fragrances are built around complex and balanced structures.
After spraying:
- The top notes are expressed in the first 10 minutes.
- The heart notes unfold after about 30 minutes.
- The base notes unfold more slowly and accompany the skin over time.
Let the perfume breathe naturally, without rubbing it, to fully experience the progression of the different accords.
Are there any other precautions to take when using it?
Please keep this product out of reach of infants, children, and pets to prevent accidental ingestion. Flammable product: keep away from flames. Avoid contact with eyes. If discomfort or skin reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately.

How long do your products last?
From the first spray, a perfume typically has a shelf life of no more than 5 years , provided it is stored away from UV rays and heat, which are the factors most likely to alter its quality. To fully appreciate the richness of its nuances, we recommend ideally using it within 12 months of opening .
How to store our perfumes?
Storage Conditions : Store your perfume in a cool, dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight, in order to fully preserve its quality and olfactory balance.

Does In Petto use only natural ingredients?
In Petto rigorously selects the best natural raw materials, and collaborates with the Robertet Group — founded in 1850 in Grasse and recognized worldwide as one of the leaders in natural ingredients in perfumery.
However, some notes—like raspberry—cannot be extracted from nature in their olfactory form. Furthermore, regulations governing natural ingredients sometimes limit their use. Therefore, we supplement our formulas with high-quality natural or synthetic molecules, chosen to faithfully reproduce the intended scent while guaranteeing safety, precision, and excellence.
